BPJ Bullets have a tough and durable polymer jacket, thermally bonded to the lead alloy core. The jacket seals and lubricates the bullet which prevents leading and leaves a clean shinny barrel. The polymer jackets are softer than metal jackets and cause less wear to the barrel. The polymer jackets are also far more cost effective than metallic jackets.
This means no lead exposure, no lead fouling in the barrel, no lube build-up on reloading equipment and no smoke on the firing line and no hole in your pocket.
Pro Tip (s) when reloading:
Flare the case so that the polymer is not shaved off when seating the bullet.
Do not over-crimp the bullet in the case, it is softer than copper Jacket/lead core. This will distort the shape of the bullet and affect accuracy.
Check OAL that the bullet is about .25 to 0.5mm off the lands and grooves.
