Standard system components

Portable safe ( Pangolin Safe) suitable for up to 15.6” laptops plus tablet, phone, wallet and other small items.

Removable docking station for use in vehicles ( Isofix Dock). Supplied with release tool.

Accessories

Fixed docking station for use in the home or office ( Plain Dock). Supplied with fasteners.

Installation kit for replicating standard Isofix tethers ( Isofix replication tether kit). Supplied with fasteners.

Construction

Clamshell design with rigidised aluminium outer shell with 180° opening lid and separately hinged latching front cover with mechanical lock. The stainless steel hinge rivets are exposed, but redundant for security purposes.

Locking mechanism

The mechanical lock is a high quality tubular design with 7 pin tumblers (>20 000 combinations) acting upon a proprietary, purpose designed, independently operated latching bolt mechanism.

Safe Material

Bonded dual layer shell with rigidised aluminium outer skin, full length steel hinges attached with 304 stainless steel rivets and proprietary machined steel latch bolts.

Safe Exterior Finish

Standard material: Epoxy powder coated.

Standard colours: Bronze vein, textured black, silver vein or white.

Other colour options are available subject to terms and conditions.

Safe Interior Finish

Bottom and sides: Protective padding 6 mm thick EPDM closed cell foam rubber (black)

Top cover: Protective padding of 3 mm non-woven synthetic felt (black)

Back end: Protective padding of 6 mm thick EPDM closed cell foam rubber (black)

Front end: PVC strip (black)

Isofix Dock

Supplied with 4 sets of M6 x 30 mm stainless steel countersunk cap screws, washers and Nyloc nuts.

Tether Kit

Mild steel plate 3 mm thick with black Epoxy powder coating.
