The V100 is a domestic use machine, and is ideal for the home user who does not need to vacuum pack large quantities. The V100 only has a manual function.
The Lava V100 is most suited for those who hunt and prep (Prepare) regularly.
Its performance easily exceeds that of retail store bought vacuum sealers in South Africa
The V100 works with both vacuum bags and continuous rolls. Just like any out-of-chamber machine, the LAVA Range of vacuum machines work with specific ribbed bags. It can take sizes up to 30cm wide and will remove the air from a medium sized bag (20cms x 30cms) in about 10 seconds. The V100 has an indicator that indicates when the full vacuum is reached and the bag can then be heat sealed by manually pressing a switch. The sealing process takes about 5 seconds. The V100 has a single seal strip that is 5mm wide.
The V100 can also be used to vacuum acrylic containers, using the vacuum pump attachment that is supplied with the machine. The containers are perfect for keeping salads, fruit and vegetables in top condition for up to five times longer than they would normally keep. The acrylic containers are also from Germany and are safe for use in in the fridge, freezer, microwave and dishwasher. (Containers Sold separately)
Note: The Lava V100 must be used with "ribbed" vacuum bags either in roll form or pre-sized bags. They are easily obtainable.
